|Language||Number of characters with whitespaces in the sample||Number of words in the sample||Number of pages of 1800 characters with whitespaces in the sample||Average number of characters in one word||Number of words on one page of 1800 characters with whitespaces|
|Japanese*||600 Japanese characters (without whitespaces) correspond to approx. 1800 characters with whitespaces of Polish text.|
|Arabic*||It is assumed that the volume of Arabic text is by 1/7 shorter than Polish text.|
|Chinese*||In the case of Chinese, 500 characters with whitespaces correspond to 1800 characters with whitespaces of Polish text.|
* Based on the experience of sworn translators.
In English, a page of 1800 characters with whitespaces equals almost perfectly to a page of 1500 characters without whitespaces. The exact ratio is 1.02, i.e. 102 pages of 1800 characters with whitespaces = 100 pages of 1500 characters without whitespaces. Sample: 1 567 635 characters with whitespaces.

For Polish and English, the two most frequently used languages, we have significantly increased the size of samples. Over time, we will be increasing the samples for other languages and collecting information from the translators of non-Latin languages.
